32-point control panel with wireless, battery operated remote detectors
The CEW Series centralized detection and control system can monitor up to 32 remote detectors via a wireless RS-485 communication link at 900MHz or 2.4GHz, reducing installation costs.
While typically used for enclosed vehicular facilities where CO and NO2 (for Diesel fumes) are the gases detected, the panel can also be configured to monitor CO2, Propane, Methane, Gasoline Vapors and other toxics and combustibles, please consult the factory. Remote sensors can cover up to 10,000 sq. ft. each depending on the layout of the space.
The CEW Series offers indicating lights that show the alarm status at all locations and an LED display that shows the exact concentration for the selected gas at each detection point using a PPM readout. The CEW Series comes with a removable keypad so that no unauthorized personnel can tamper with the programming of the system, an important improvement over competing systems that have a keyboard installed on the front of the control panel. The GasPost wireless gas detectors have a sensor and battery life span of two years, and are easy to service in the field when required.
