Cornice AHEAHE's timber suspension system consists of treated 50x50cm timber joists spaced at not more than 450mm center to center in one direction and 1220mm in the other. The hanging joist is power fixed from structure by 25x50mm timber joists at 1220mm intervals. The perimeter of ceiling consists of 25x50mm timber and power fixed to the wall.
The fibrous plasterglass boards are temporarily fixed in position with joint and grouted at the back and over timber with fiberglass/gypsum plaster. After grouting has set, remove all temporary fixings, and flush up joint and nail hole with stopping compound. |
