Sliding Doors and Windows
Sliding Systems, available in extremely large sizes, offer "minimal" thresholds, enabling virtually unobstructed passage. They are available in different typologies, in the same lines, woods and finishes as the windows and doors.
These are our seven main Sliding Systems:
- LIFT AND SLIDE UNIT: suitable for big surfaces, it is feasible with more than one sliding or fixed leaves, also in curved in plan units. It is provided with bottom track and the 3 sides frame is 178 mm deep. This system is capable to support security and safety glazing due to the special hardware with 300 kg maximum load each leaf;
- MOTORIZED LIFT AND SLIDE UNIT, is like the previous, but is provided with a sophisticated motorized opening system, actionable by remote control. Security devices are installed (photoelectric cells) to guarantee the stop of the leaves.
- PARALLEL TILT AND SLIDE: The Albertini parallel tilt and slide is two-panel system (with or without a vertical mullion) in which both panels are in the same plane when closed. The operable panel is fitted with special articulated pivoting/sliding gear that allows it to move inward, out of plane with the fixed panel and to slide across the interior face of the fixed panel. (The action is similar to the sliding doors on minivans) The operable panel can also be tilted in place to create ventilation while retaining security against forced entry. With perimeter, multi-point locking and single-control lever handle, this system offers an architectural solution where a minimum frame dimension is required (just 68 mm).
