Front-mounted system-based roller shutters are mainly designed for existing buildings. The advantage of these products is that they do not require any special pre-installation preparation nor works to the existing structure as they are not integrated with the window. Buyers can thus decide to install the front-mounted roller shutters at any time. These solutions can be mounted to the window joinery or to the lintel, or directly on the wall. Especially this last method guarantees the possibility to obtain better sound-insulation parameters. Aluprof offers roller-boxes in three forms: rectangular (cut at an angle of 45 °), oval and half-oval, to enable a proper fit to the external wall. The use of the Moskito system, independently from the rollers shutters, additionally protects the interiors against insects while maintaining the access of light and air.
