Built-in porthole…

A completely new interpretation of the well-known porthole. This anodised aluminium porthole ring is worked into the door leaf structure, after which a 3 mm aluminium edge remains visible, that is flush with the door leaf surface and the glass. The visual exterior diameter is 370 mm, the glazed interior diameter 364 mm. The rings are connected mechanically with a very discreet seam. They are fully integrated in the door leaf structure so that the mounting is invisible. The glass volume is 4 to 6 mm on both sides of the door leaf depending on the type of glass and is mounted on the porthole ring with grey or fully transparent 3M tape. The standard centre height is 1650 mm and is in the centre of the door leaf. This model has standard double glazing and can be fitted with increase burglar resistance in combination with laminated glass. Because of this double glazing the option can be 1 fully sandblasted glass sheet and 1 in which a logo or text can be included, so that at any time privacy is retained. Moreover, the temperature and acoustic insulation is an additional asset.
