Pivoting hinges without built-in floor fixtures
The pivot hinge is mounted nearly invisible on the finished floor surface, without any integrated floor fixtures. The minimal local floor anchoring (2 bolts +-4cm deep) allows for easy installation on any type of floor even when equipped with underfloor heating systems. During development, a great deal of attention went into ease of installation and user-friendliness so that the resulting pivot door could be used in either new or existing homes, regardless of the floor construction. The invisible hinges are fully integrated into the glass door frame or the rectangle glass mounted hinges.
Offset or central axis pivot point?
This pivot hinge is designed to create both offset and central axis pivoting doors. An eccentric pivot door setup results in a 1/3 ratio for the pivot point mounting. These pivot doors close soundlessly by means of patented locking technology integrated in the door frame. The male (convex) part consists of a synthetic profile on the door leaf or it’s represented by the glass edge itself; the synthetic fitting in the aluminium door frame is the female (concave) part. Every Anyway door can therefore be set to open 90°, or 180°/360°. Even with doors swinging up to 180°/360°, this guarantees perfect closure and positioning.
