Medium grain quartzarenite obtained in the municipality of Corvio (Palencia).
Its composition is mainly quartzitic, with percentages above 99%. The rest of its components are present in small quantities. The most characteristic ones are white mica, chlorite, biotite and opaque minerals.
The blocks can be used for cladding in different sizes, as well as for ashlars, masonry, columns, arches, etc, with all types of finishes, such as sawn cut, bushhammered, pitch-faced and honed.
The highly homogenous white tone makes this rock an ideal material for facades in urban environments.
