High resistance glass
DUGLASS

Thermal Tempering is when glass is re-heated to just below its melting point, then suddenly cooled by directing multiple jets of cold air at a controlled pressure onto its surface.

By this means, the outer surface of the glass is subjected to compression and its interior to traction. The intensity of these two forces depends on the temperature that was reached just before cooling starts, enabling the production of tempered or heat-strengthened glass.
