Rockfall mesh is made from double-twisted hexagonal wire mesh woven with steel wire coated with strong galvanising or zinc-aluminium alloy and/or plastic polymer, depending on the degree of environmental aggressiveness. Structures are formed of 8x10 or 6x8 hexagonal mesh. Widely used to cover and consolidate cliffs, rockfall mesh controls and prevents the fall of boulders and debris from the rock faces, protecting inhabited areas, roads, highways and railways. Installed sunder the road surface, it prevents breakage and increase the bearing capacity. Thanks to its robust qualities, this double-twisted wire mesh, supplied in rolls of various widths and lengths, can also be used as a fencing for industrial complexes, for animals and agricultural land.
