Our founder, Nancy Epstein designed this award-winning ceramic collection after she was inspired by a baroque South Sea pearl necklace of hers. The pearl glaze produces a combination of matte, semi-matte and glossy patinas, which create a beautiful foiling effect. "Crazing" or "foiling" is a unique characteristic of the glaze. South Sea Collection 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" mosaics can be used in custom blends.
