The Woopy chair and stool series is made in rotomoulded polyethylene. Devised by the eclectic Karim Rashid, this collection interprets the sinuous and vaguely organic lines that best represent him, lending itself equally to indoor use – with a small armchair that can eventually be upholstered in real leather or vinyl – or to the outdoors. Reflecting on the collection’s silhouette, the stool offers a generous backrest with elongated armrests and is equipped with a chrome-plated tube that serves as a footrest. Given their features, the Woopy small armchair and stool are as perfect in the home as in contract environments. A sinuously shaped, elegant and comfortable armchair with a wrap-around seat that merges with the backrest. Made of rotomoulded polyethylene, it is suitable for use both indoors and out. Also available as an upholstered version on which traditional craftsmen’s techniques are used to apply real or imitation leather to the structure, moulding the shape and making it perfect for indoor environments.
