Three-seated bergere-like sofa in French beechwood with strut base after Louis Cresson (1706-1761). His creations used to preserve the distinctive ornament features of Regence style such as the fragmented pomegranate in a central medallion on the front back or the gadrooned water leaves. More and more embossed designs appear thus emphasizing the evolution towards the exuberance of Rococo aesthetics although in a symmetrical decorative expression.
