Primer for sealants. BAUFLEX PRIMER is ready to use polyurethane primer for joint sealants. USE BAUFLEX PRIMER is used as a primer to obtain a proper bond of the sealant to the concrete joints PRIMER'S CHARACTERISTICS Ready to use Increases the adhesion of sealants to concrete APPLICATION CONDITIONS BAUFLEX PRIMER can be used at ambient and surface temperature +10°C ‐ 25°C only, air moisture max. 80%. Existing joints must be dry and free of any moisture (humidity < 4%). Working areas should be well ventilated and protected against access by unauthorized persons and to maintain a protection zone against an open flame, especially the welding work. SURFACE PREPARATION After 28 days joints should be increased to the correct width and depth. The edges of the joints should be beveled using angle grinder. Vacuum joints thoroughly. Surface must be clean, dry, homogeneous, free of grease, dust and loose particies. Old paints, cement wash, loose particies must be removed. MIXING BAUFLEX PRIMER is ready to use. Product should be properly mixed before use. PRIMER APPLICATION After vacuum, insert polyethylene cord BAUCORD to the correct depth. BAUCORD diameter should be about 25% larger than the width of the joint. Prime the beveled edges and sides of the joints using BAUFLEX PRIMER and leave for about 60 minutes, when the primer becomes tacky. Apply BAUFLEX PRIMER with a narrow brush. Pay attention not to dirty the surface.
