Normally, in slope reinforcement applications, systems comprised of metal cables and reinforced cable panels are shown to be more effective than a stand-alone Triple Twist mesh. Cable insertion in the Triple Twist Mesh improves its rigidity and creates an intermediate solution between both systems. It is important to emphasise the financial benefit provided by SteelGrid®, as both products, mesh and metal cable, are installed at the same time. In the following photographs, one may appreciate that the cables are woven into the mesh, that contributes to it transmitting the effort to the anchorage points better. That configuration is possible due to our combined manufacturing process, in which the cables are included during the mesh weaving phase.
