Description

The efficient flow of information from engineering to manufacturing is the decisive competitive advantage supported by bocad-3D Edition Glazing. The necessary overviews are created during the detailing process. Assembly drawings, drawings of individual components, bend plates and glazing cuts and parts and order lists are generated simply at the push of a button. Users of this product typically include engineering offices and manufacturers who need costing, ordering, production and installation documents in an optimised production process. The relative success of the use of CAD depends largely on how it adapts to a company's specific requirements. In bocad-3D special settings (e.g. for parts lists and drawings) relating to specific customer requirements or purposes can be made and saved at any time. Even spatial constructions can be generated in a short space of time, collision-free. Due to the heavily reduced requirement to rework drawings, the rationalisation potential is considerable. The time and cost factors in the engineering office and in the preparatory work are restricted to a minimum by automated detailed drawings and material lists. Lists of glazing cuts are available for orders at a very early stage. The processing time for the project is drastically reduced. Setting up in the factory and measuring openings is no longer necessary because any constructional faults are visible immediately in the model.
