Description

bocad-3D Timber Engineering is designed for users in the laminated timber construction sector, timber construction and for laminated timber manufacturers. Complex construction projects, such as roofing landscapes, halls, bridges, towers, commercial and community buildings, can be planned using this programme. bocad-3D Timber Engineering provides you with automated assistance when constructing straight and arched laminated timber constructions. Various types of single-span, frame and arched girders provide the user with support for construction. Tools for creating the supporting structures, such as bearings, connections, cambers, partitions and roof ridges, are also available. Members are integrated in three dimensions with any kind of cross section, profile or material. The building model gains detail as members are generated and wood and steel connections are produced. Steel, nailed and screwed connections are integrated freely or in accordance with manufacturers' catalogues. Different types of timber, steel and concrete supports form the connection with the beams. Tensile and compression bars are used to reinforce the building.Connection details and other adjustments can be company-specific generated using the integrated macro language or adapted using bocad.
