ELYCOLD® BRIANZA PLASTICA

Elycold laminates are manufactured by a discontinuous process allowing “natural” curing of the composite. By avoiding the thermal shock typical of a continuous process Elycold laminates are guaranteed perfect planarity, feature that is critical to achieve top quality panels. A thick layer of UV-resistant gel-coat resins with low styrene content and low shrink factor are employed to assure:
- perfect covering of the underlying fibres.
- excellent weatherability for as long as the panel is operational.
- total water resistance of the surface and consequent protection of insulating core.
- low yellowing index certified by UV-CON test.

The use of chopped fibreglass MAT assures high dimensional stability. A variety of MAT weights is available to which WOVEN ROVING with various specifications may be added to increase mechanical resistance. The combinations obtained make ELYCOLD available in a wide range of types and thicknesses..
