Megabreak air circuit breakers are available with rated currents up to 6300A and 42, 50, 65 and 100 kA breaking capacities. All available with the same height and depth, circuit breakers come in two widths, as a function of the rated current or the breaking capacity. The range is made up of circuit breakers in fixed or pull-out version to which different protection units featuring extremely sophisticated functions and protection threshold adjustments can be associated in the ordering phase. Through simple and intuitive icon navigation touch screen protection units can set tripping thresholds and times, but can also display the electrical parameters and magnitudes typical of the system where they are installed. Various screens can be displayed with these protection units, so that the circuit breaker is kept under constant check. The various protection units are set up for use in supervision systems made on MODBUS communication protocol. With Megabreak circuit breakers one can also make logic selectivity, which can obtain high selectivity levels, guaranteeing the system service continuity. Technological evolution and innovative functions Standard and touch screen protection units, communication for supervision functions and simple and precise adjustments are just some of the features of the MEGABREAK air circuit breaker range. Maximum performance for maximum reliability The MEGABREAK range is made up of air circuit breakers in just 3 sizes conforming to CEI EN 60947-2 standard with rated currents from 630 to 6300 A and breaking capacities of 42, 50, 65 and 100 kA.
