Ecological island
This term means a prefabricated system for a protected housing of all Urban Solid Litter collection instruments and/or other kinds of litter. Ecological islands are made of modular components, having a length of 100 and 140 cms, which allow several planimetrical aggregations to be archived. Ecological islands offer unlimited planimetrical combinations and can easily be integrated with other street furniture components manufactured by us. Insertion of bike racks, planters, benches etc. permits us to create street furniture and this contributes to mitigate the whole visual impact.
An ecological island version with autoclave pressure impregnated pine boards is also available.
