Thermoformed tunnels are realised by hot-bending Polymethilmethacrylate PMMA or Polycarbonate PC sheets. Caoduro's technology provides that the sheets is brought gradually to a higher temperature than that of vitrous transition of the polymer, in hot air circulation ovens and then placed onto a mould.
The result is a product with no stretched areas with constant thickness. Impact resistance is consequentely uniform throughout the tunnel if compared to cold-bended sheets. During the moulding process stiffening ribs are obtained in order to make the tunnel resistant to loads in compliance with actual normatives.
Light passes uniformly thanks to the absence of metallic elements.
Provided with vertical thermoformed closing headpieces, smooth or with thermoformed ribs to guarantee maximum stability even for big dimensions.
Single or double wall .
Sheet colours: opal white or transparent.
