SILVANO PIERDONÀ, 2014 — Segno seems as if it has been sculpted directly from the matter. The sturdy thickness of its drawers is its most prominent feature. The solid rigor that it emanates is combined with an escalation of colours and finishes. Different textures and processes, which use hues or essences to create precious or material effects, may be applied to both the top and front, allowing for the on-going development of new configurations. This line of drawers adds a decisive expressive charge to both elegant and informal environments. Tops and sides are adjoined at 45° by means of recessed angular joints. The self-standing cabinets have the bottom positioned 36 mm higher in order to allow the fixing of the front plinth and the small adjustable feet. The external sides and the top of the cabinet have a 10 × 10 mm milling, the resulting gap allows the door opening.
