llusions™ ceilings began with a dream: what would be the ideal ceiling system? From the start, we knew it had to be great looking – with exciting finishes, a concealed suspension system, and panel sizes to match the visual scale of any space. Next we identified functional requirements, including optimum acoustics, light weight for easy handling and reduced load, full accessibility to above-ceiling services, and integration with lighting and other ceiling mounted fixtures. Finally, but not as an afterthought, we recognized that the ceiling had to be as sustainable and affordable as possible. Driven by this vision, Ceilings Plus created Illusions, the most successful metal and wood ceiling system in existence.

Description: Illusions’ suspension system is ICC approved in accordance with International Building Code standards for Seismic Categories A, B, C, D, E, and F. Calculations to support slotted grid and “heavy duty” rating is available upon request.

Panel Width: 1’ to 4’ (consult factory for other dimensions).

Panel Length: 2’ to 10’.

Access: Torsion spring system provides individual downward panel access.

Light Weight: 1.5 lbs per sf (approx.).

Finishes: Wide variety of wood and metal.

Interior/Exterior: Exterior utilizes additional fasteners for required load.

No VOC: No added formaldehyde.

Aluminum: contains up to 85% recycled content.
