Vascular treatment paths have been specially designed for the treatment of circulatory problems in the lower limbs. The path has two pools: one with hot water and one with cold water. In order to move from the first to the second pool, the patient goes up and down some steps, which is made easier by a handrail running along the side of the pool.
The variation in temperature from one pool to another and the action of lateral hydromassage jets with different pressure levels (the highest pressure being at foot level and the lowest at the base of the thigh) positioned on the walls of the pool, have a beneficial effect on blood circulation in the lower limbs. Other methods used in the vascular treatment path are a physiological foot massage when walking, a natural massage through the movement of the water and the toning action of the temperature differences on the walls of capillaries.
The vascular path can be part of a therapeutic swimming pool if desired.
