our 100% cotton FUTON mattresses are filled with layers of cotton rather than fluffy balls. They do not contain springs and therefore cannot disturb the body's energy flow. Comfort is guaranteed by their flexibility; in fact cotton's softness follows the body's curves whilst still being firm enough to correctly support the spine, and so aiding deep, restful sleep. The filling is also in cotton, thus avoiding allergy problems and providing excellent breathability, not to mention a feeling of coolness in summer and excellent insulation in winter.
