steel supports with semi-matt, hammered lacquer finish. Each
elliptical support has two gold-coloured, adjustable feet and a
vertical cable duct running inside it. All the tops are in 30 mm
MDF, chamfered along the two long sides, and are veneered
with genuine elm root-wood, finished with several coats of semimatt
polyurethane varnish. At each end of the top, the side
supports are fitted with an elliptically-shaped cover in MDF,
covered with saddle-stitched leather. By removing these covers
it is possible to inspect any electrical cables running within the
desk sides. As an alternative, desks are available with top in 12
mm toughened, frosted glass, resting on a metal structure
similar to that used for the wooden tops.
