Before the concrete is cast, the mould is pre-treated with a setting retarder that ensures that
the concrete in contact with the mould scarcely hardens, if at all.
After stripping, the unhardened concrete mortar is washed away under high pressure to expose a granular texturing.
By using granules with different colours, this production process makes it possible to create a
wider range of concrete wall colours.
Results for this production process can be improved still further by adding pigments to the
concrete mix. This is particularly recommended for darker types of silex.
