Precast columns are available in rectangular or circular shapes. The cross-section is standardized and the side or diameter normally ranges from 300 to 600 mm. The length is adapted to each specific project. It may vary from one story to four stories with a maximum of 24 m. Precast columns may be provided with single or multiple corbels to support the floor or roof beams and girders for overhead cranes.
