Precast walls can be used in any type of buildings where there is a need for durable, flexible, high quality, fire resistant walls. The thickness of the massive wall units varies between 120 and 200 mm, depending on the strength and sound insulation requirements. The elements are one storey in height, with a maximum of about 4.20 m, exceptionally 4.50 m. This value is generally governed by transport conditions. The length of the panels is mostly between 2.40 m and 14.00 m.

The bearing walls are generally used in combination with hollow-core floors. Other applications are partition walls and elevator and stairwell shafts. Generally, the larger the wall units, the more economic the project, and the better the site productivity.

Precast walls are manufactured on long tables. The molded side is smooth as cast, the top face leveled and floated. Painting or wallpapering is possible after slight surface rendering. Technical ducts and inserts for electricity are incorporated during casting.
