Minerit LW fibre-cement boards are solid, inflammable construction boards designed for covering the structure of walls and ceilings in the frame system. They are made of cement, fibre and mineral fillers, and don't contain any hazardous ingredients. Their excellent technical properties allow constructing buildings in the frame system, for various purposes and in various sizes.
Minerit LW is excellent for interior walls and allows meeting strict requirements with respect to acoustic and thermal insulation. Typical places for using Minerit LW boards are interior walls and ceilings of flats, hotels, hostels, offices, conference halls, hospitals, and catering and commercial facilities.
They are recommended for building walls in unheated rooms, with a high humidity level, and in places with a high temperature and hostile conditions. Examples of such buildings include: sports facilities, school and kindergarten corridors, garages, lift engine rooms, air-conditioning facility rooms, boiler rooms, factory floors, and utility rooms.
Minerit LW boards combine characteristics of many other construction boards, particularly in terms of fire safety, impact resistance, durability, sound insulation, simple processing and installation. What is more, Minerit LW fibre-cement boards don't allow the growth of mould and don't decompose, which enables using them in places where it would be impossible to use plaster boards.
