Rated Roll Up Fire Rated Counter Shutters In the event of a fire, our fire rated counter shutters are used as a structural barrier in both counter height and full height openings to compartmentalize the building and prevent the spread of fire. They can be used anywhere that requires a closure that is UL labeled for up to 3 hours. When our rolling fire shutters are combined with our innovative operating systems, they provide failsafe activation that drops the shutter at a safe and reliable rate of speed at the first sign of smoke or fire. Fire rated counter shutters are custom built to exact opening specifications using compact guides, slats, brackets and hoods for a smooth profile. Integral Frame and Sill We also offer integral frame and sill units that are UL labeled for 1 ½ hours. Integral Frame units offer a custom appearance and a quick install, slipping easily into an existing wall. SmokeShield - Smoke & Draft Control Smoke kills more often than fire, which is why we offer an optional SmokeShield package. It offers exceptional smoke and draft control that is listed to UL1784 and assures that smoke will be compartmentalized with the fire and not spread throughout the facility.
