Cotto d'Este has designed the majolica floors of the most beautiful homes overlooking the Mediterranean Sea basin. The Rosa dei Venti collection suggests the fascination of those surfaces and shades, sometimes lighter, sometimes more intense, dedicated to premises strongly desiring brightness.
The compactness of porcelain stoneware and its high thickness guarantee the best resistance to mechanical stresses, shocks and wear in time.
But the most valuable aspect is the surface glaze. Indeed, a special glassy grit is finely ground and evenly applied on the surface. A slow firing totally melts it till penetrating in the body, making the Rosa dei Venti collection much more resistant and easier to clean.
