The SPIR range of passive infrared switches are mounted on a single gang white switch plate with a rugged domed lens housing the detector, which gives up to a 9m coverage. They are easy to install onto a standard flush or surface mounting British Standard switch box. Significant energy saving can be achieved when used to control electrical equipment such as:

Lighting - including fluorescent and compact fluorescent

Electric heating - either directly or via the heater control circuit

Ventilation - fans for toilets and washrooms
