4 millimetres is all it takes to revolutionise the shower in the Cristina range of bathroom fixtures and fittings.
Sandwich* is a new production system for shower heads which uses coupled stainless plates 1 mm in thickness.
The pressurised water arriving through a distributor from the inlet pipe acts as a spring on the discs.
This allows for a more even distribution of the water inside the shower head.
With no other outlet , the water flows through the holes protected with limescale-proof membrane and cascades in a wide and powerful jet.
Only minimum pressure is required for the system t o function properly.
A mere 0.5 bars of dynamic pressure is enough to supply a shower head 40 cm in diameter and guarantee a normal shower.
This permits considerable savings in both the quantity of water used as well as energy required.
Thanks to the fact that they are no longer produced in a mould but using new technologies, the Sandwich* range of shower heads are extremely versatile and can be adapted to new shapes for a limited series or one-off pieces.
