The heart of the design is the triangular aluminum leg and the way it is connected to the top surface. A tooled connecting mechanism is routed into the underneath of the top surface. The aluminum leg slides on to the mechanism, and with a simple turn of the locking knob the leg is secured to the top. When two tables are joined together, the legs - not tops - are connected via an aluminum panel that simply clips into the top and bottom of the two table legs. This panel clamps the legs together
securely and melts seamlessly into a single harmonious unit.
This leg unit, when joined with an aluminum panel, also offers a cable niche
and feed access to manage cables from the table top. The panel can be removed easily for access to cable and has a wire
outfeed hole at the bottom. To complete the functional approach of
Segno, each leg offers a built-in adjustable glide making it easy to compensate for uneven floors. A one inch adjustment to the overall table height is easily accomplished with a few turns with the hexagonal screwdriver that is supplied with every order.
