The Alchemy Collection is a revolutionary, design-driven collection of the industry’s first Cradle to Cradle™ Trevira CS drapery textiles. This collection is comprised of six multi-purpose patterns inspired by antiquarian and modern jewelry. The references that define these designs were taken from treasured pieces of the designer’s personal collection in conjunction with archival research. As jewelry is an adornment to our personal style, the designs in Alchemy become eye-candy in any interior, with an environmental conscience.
All of the fabrics in the Alchemy Collection are 100% Trevira CS and for the first time Silver Cradle to Cradle™ certified. Trevira CS has been awarded C2C certification as the result of years of intense development by a highly respected European mill and the EPEA, using Cradle to Cradle protocol. This means all materials and chemicals in C2C Trevira CS have been assessed for their impact on human and environmental health with resulting replacement strategies and/or chemical optimization. Cradle to Cradle Trevira CS has been established as a Technical Nutrient, meaning its materials are designed to be reutilized in an industrial cycle. Strategies to use renewable energy and preserve water quality have been developed for these products. Additionally, the manufacturing facility of the Alchemy Collection has demonstrated that it practices social responsibility to its suppliers, employees and the local community.
