Deuce responded to a customer's very precise functional requirements through the interplay of these asymetric spaces. A leather lid on the top hides a storage space for glasses. On the other side, two lids reveal the storage area for bottles, their visual rhythm accented by brass hinge pins. Between these two elements, the rest of the tabletop remains unadorned, ready to receive the leather drink coasters. These fit exactly into their own drawer on the side of the table that opens with a "touch-release" system. Under the table, two shelves in wood and leather hold magazines, remote controls or books. A second drawer with a pneumatic latch can store corkscrews, bottle openers and other equipement.
