The Berkeley sofa bed is one of the most simple and casual designs. The sofa was named after the Berkeley Castle, an historic medieval castle in Gloucestershire, England where construction was begun in the late 12th century by the first Berkeley. A Berkeley still lives there today and you can envision the Berkeley sofa greeting you in one of the public rooms as you wait to begin your tour of the castle. You can bring that simple look combined with the fine furniture construction into your home as well. Shown here in our premium rust leather, this sofa bed may be ordered in any one of our antiqued, premium or deluxe leathers. You also could use your own fabric that matches your wall and drapery treatments or have one of our designers find the right colour and fabric for the setting in your room. The Berkeley sofa bed comes in three sizes: a 2 seat with a 100cm wide mattress, 2.5 seat with a 120cm wide mattress and 3 seat with a 140cm wide mattress. The bed sits low to the ground so that when you pull the cushions off, it is the proper height for the fold out mattress and legs to balance the height of the sofa bed. You have an instant bed for a visit from friends or family. In outer appearance, you can�t tell the difference between the sofa and the sofa bed.
