With the new DOM Guardian® DOM has incorporated all the electronic properties of the DOM Protector® into a fitting. The reader unit, functional parts, mechatronics and the battery compartment are in the external fitting therefore the fitted reader can be mounted on the external side. Alternatively the fitting can be mounted within the internal plate. Locking authorisations are controlled using a master card or with DOM software solutions. In the same way as the DOM Protector® the online version of the DOM Guardian® in connection with the DOM RF NetManager can be extended to form an online system. In this way events in doors are exchanged between the DOM Guardian® and the DOM Software in real time. Virtual network connection is also possible by means of the DOM desktop reader, the DOM AccessManager Terminal or the DOM ITT. Handle versions In order to meet special design requirements or to accommodate different door positions the DOM Guardian® is available with a choice of handles.
