EFA-STT

High-speed turbo-door is the term used for a globally unique high-speed door for indoor applications, the door leaf of which is made of single-wall slats which are permanently transparent. On request the door leaf can be supplied PVC-free and as such is best suited for applications in the automotive industry (painting stations), in chemical and pharmaceutical plants as well as all sectors of the food-processing industry. The high-speed turbo-door EFA-STT is up to 3 m/sec. fast. It stays tight even under overpressure and underpressure conditions. Even under strong wind loads, the door remains fully operational.

The door leaf consists of individual single-wall slats which - each separately - are bolted to strap hinges on both sides so that no force acts within the hanging. The vertical hoisting motion is introduced directly via the strap hinges. The door leaf is taken up in a patented round spiral above the door opening - contactless and virtually wear-free. As a consequence, the door leaf can see years of wear without losing its appearance, and door travel is especially quiet.

The High-speed Turbo-door is the only worldwide internal High-speed-door with a door-blade made of single-walled transparent plastic-laths , that will remain completely transparent in the long run.

Just recently announced, the transparent high speed door from EFAFLEX
has been released in a model with active crash system (EFA-ACS) which
enables the door to repair “itself” after a collision, within a very short period of time.
