The ventilated façade is a wall cladding system that confers elegance and functionality to a building, with its remarkable aesthetic qualities and its significant advantages in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation and energy savings.
This system consists of a load bearing metal structure secured to the wall of the building with brackets and anchors (generally in aluminium), and a layer of thermal insulation applied to the clad wall.
The functional feature of the ventilated façade is the air gap (approximately 5 cm) between the clad structure and the exterior cladding, which creates effective natural ventilation.
