The spaceframe structure is a combination of a modular, spatial, metallic structure (poles and joints) with suitably tensioned and stabilized single and/or double membrane underneath.
The advantages of the double membrane model are essentially: insulation, with an important reduction in the thermal coefficient, more comfortable in Spring and Autumn, reduced condensation and less echoes. The structure has been designed to withstand snow + wind + pre-tension + its own weight.
The covering membrane is made from PVC coated, very tough Trevira polyester fabric, in translucent white and green, resistant to the elements and with the characteristics listed in the specifications.
The membrane is placed under the structure and tensioned with chains and special flexible coupling discs, and has undeniable advantages of duration and a notable reduction in condensation. In effect the prime advantage is in the duration and maintenance of the cover, not having direct points of contact with the galvanized structure, it is not subjected to damage through chafing and a quicker deterioration.
