This aluminium profile with a footstep surface of 68 mm includes a nonslip part of 33 mm. It is installed once the construction work has finished, and it can be used both inside and outside of buildings. A photoluminiscent plate has been placed on the top part in order to make the profile visible in dark areas. This STEP has undergone the Standard Test Method for Photonic Luminance of Photoluminescent ASTM E 2073-07, which enables it to provide a visibility of around 4 hours and a half after 10 mn of activation at 150 lux. It was designed to mark the evacuation routes or to shed light in the dark and thus making it easier to comply with the current security standards while reducing the cost of this compliance.
