Stainless steel structures turn ventilation systems into decorative elements. CONSTRUCTION Wires and slot openings must be chosen to meet specific air flow requirements (specific open area requirements) The actual combination of wires and apertures will depend upon the visual aspects required. The wire is generally used horizontally. The support rods add the mechanical strength to the column with 10x2 rods at 25 or 50mm spacings most commonly specifified. DIMENSIONS Two configurations of columns are possible. Cylindrical columns of one piece that will surround the ventilation system and with consideration to accessibility. The diameter can vary between 300mm and 950mm for a maximum of 5M in height. Columns of two segments (or more) constructed to close around the ventilation plant. Their diameter will start from 600mm with an unlimited maximum. Similarly there is no maximum height since elements can be stacked one upon another. Other shapes such as ellipses and U configurations can be produced. FRAMING & FIXINGS Feet can be added to base of cylinders. Segments can be joined by the addition of angle bars or by bolting to a substructure around the ventilation plant. FINISH A natural (satin) finish is most commonly specified.
