Description

Vapour-permeable roof membrane. Made of polyester nonwoven and coated with polyurethane. The product is characterized by increased resistance to tearing and stretching as well as unique properties which allow to absorb and withdraw excessive moisture through its bottom polyester layer. Membrane is available in SYSTEM SK2 with two self-adhesive tapes. Advantages: Tear resistance Suitable for full sarking Water-tightness Prevents condensation Application Membrane is designed for use as initial covering for ventilated sloping roofs, also when fully sarked. Due to its structure and durability, the product is strongly recommended for application with slate roofing. Venting slot between the membrane and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, fiberglass) must be preserved. Product must not be applied directly on thermal insulation. The final roof covering must be assembled with batten and counter-batten. Suitable for use in nearly all types of roof coverings – recommended for cement and clay tiles, metal roofing as well as slate.
