Traditional leather sofa
CHARLES CHURCHILL
Fleming & Howland
The colouring of leatherby hand involves exceptional skill and is underïaken only by a handful of highly skilled upholsterers. The dyes are mixed and gently massaged into the leather which is then allowed to dry. This process is repeated at least 6 times to ensure a beautifully toned patina and an authentic antiqued appearance. As the dyes are absorbed in varying intensifies on différent areas ofthe skin.the original hallmarks ofthe hide ensure that every pièce is completely unique and distinctive. The resuit is an object ofvalued possession to be passed down générations; a genuine article worthy enough to be called an Heirloom.
