The mullions and transoms are factory fabricated into single modules, typically 1500mm wide per storey high. The glazed element/spandrel panels can be fixed to the aluminium frame either by structural silicone, factory bonded or by external visible aluminium glazing retention beads. The units are fixed the building floor slab via fixing brackets which in turn are fixing to cast in channels. The unitised system guarantees excellent quality and is installed from the floor slab inside the building with no external access. External features, brise soleil, external fins, etc. will be installed when the unit is on the floor slab prior to installing the unit onto the façade. Main advantages: Reduction of human resources and/or time for installation of the units on site, generally from slab without the need for scaffoldings Assembling in a controlled area, not affected by weather conditions, that ensures a higher quality of the final product.
