The firebox of this model is one-piece of steel. The curved, hinged, heat-resistant glass door allows maximum visibility of the fire.

The bottom section of the glass door opens to allow wood to be added and provides natural ventilation that prevents the glass from darkening. It is wood-burning or (optionally) gas-burning.
