Up sofa system was designed by the design trio Knudsen, Berg and Hindenes. The idea was to design a modular sofa system with a clean simple shape. The solid construction invites you to sit on your back and can be placed in the middle of the room. The backrest is tilted in the exact angle an arm would rest on the back of a sofa making the chest of the user open and sitting up straight. These two functions makes the sofa great for receptions that wants informal communication. The modular system can easily be adapted to different configurations in form, textures and color combinations.
