Lacquered float glass
VVC
Furukawa Corporation
The float glass is produced under the Float process which consists of a sheet of glass in a molten state that floats along the surface of liquid tin in a controlled atmosphere, thereby eliminating irregularities and leveling surfaces to make them flat, parallel and bright.
The float glass is sold mainly colorless, but to reduce the incoming heat and discomfort caused by excessive luminosity, there is also colored float glass and/ or float glass with a reflective coating applied to one side.
