PFK aluminum profiles are produced in Peru, in our extrusion plant under strict quality control. PFK aluminum profiles are ideal for architecture, decoration and industry and are characterized by their lightness and strength. They are anti-corrosive anti-magnetic and are available in a variety of finishes and economy. Color: The aluminum is a silvery white metal with a high reflectivity of light and heat. Density: The density of the aluminum is 2.699 g/cm3, the steel: 7.5 g/cm3 and the copper: 8.46 g/cm3, with the aluminum almost one third of the steel. Thermal Properties:The thermal conductivity is four times higher that of steel. . The fution temperature is 660,2 ºC. Electrical Propertiess: High conductivity copper 63.8%. Optical properties: High reflectivity of 80 to 85% and may reach 95% depending on the finish. Absorbs less solar light than the copper and steel. Magnetic Properties: It is anti-magnetic and doesn´t produce sparks. Elasticity: The elasticity is low and its elastic elongation is 3 times that of steel, which is very advantageous for structures that need to withstand impact. Chemical resistance: is due to the formation of very thin oxide film which is insoluble in water and protects it from the environment and corrosion. It functions the same when in a pure metal form, such as when forming alloys.
